Eyal Gur, MD, PhD, is Head of the Plastic Surgery Department, Sourasky Medical Center Tel-Aviv, Israel . He has over 20 years’ experience in the field of plastic surgery and was selected by Newsweek magazine as one of the top 10 micro-surgeons in the world. Additionally, he is author of over 70 papers and articles. A busy entrepreneur, father, surgeon, volunteer and university lecturer, Professor Gur is also concerned about training the next generation of micro-surgeons. “I am busy sending our residents abroad to the best centers in the world,” he says. “We have young doctors now specialized in reconstructive surgery after breast cancer operations and in reconnecting severed limbs.

Professor Heden is recognized as one of the top plastic surgeons in the world and has been a consultant for Allergan for many years. He has participated in a large number of national and international plastic surgery conferences, often giving lectures or serving as a moderator. He is a member of, and participates regularly in the meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the International Confederation of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS). He has visited and studied in a large number of internationally known clinics. The Akademikliniken in Sweden will serve as an additional site for Orbix’s clinical trials.
